The ハイクラスパック シャイニースターVHigh-Class Pack Shiny Star V is a subset from the SWSH cycle. With a number of cards of 330, it is the largest expansion ever released in Japan. Even taking into account international enlargements, it has this record.
Shiny Star V (Japanese: High Class Pack Shiny Star V) is a special expansion released during the Sword & Shield series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, this is the name for the fourth subset, which was released during the Sword & Shield era. The expansion includes Pokémon V and VMAX as well as Shiny Pokémon.
The High Class Pack Shiny Star V was released on 20. November 2020 in Japan and continues the trend that was established with earlier High Class Packs with a large number of reprinted cards with a special focus on Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX. Some of the Pokémon included in the subsets contain works of art that were previously reserved only for English expansions and various products. The subset also contains a large number of shiny Pokémon, all of which are reprints of cards released during the Sword and Shield era, have a special embossed Holofoil treatment, and are secret cards. All regular Shiny Pokémon cards have different graphics and are available in “S” rarity, while all Shiny Pokémon V use their previous Full Art prints and are available in “SSR” rarity. With the exception of Amazing Rare Pokémon, Pokémon V, and Pokémon VMAX cards, all non-secret cards do not have a rarity symbol.
Shiny Star V contains 330 cards, of which 140 are secret cards. This makes it the largest Japanese set and surpasses the 250 cards included in the GX Ultra Shiny subgroup. Shiny Star V also has a parallel foil set with a Reverse Halo Holofoil variant for all non-Holofoil cards in the main set. Each booster pack contains 10 instead of the usual five cards with a guaranteed Pokémon V or Pokémon VMAX card.
